Photography is very often assumed to be the best medium to represent perceptible – and sometimes non-visible – reality. But is that what it really does?

It is limited by its own nature: It can help us recalling familiar feelings, people, smells and places and yet it will only return a portion, a frisson of their existence.
This project takes into consideration its framing constraint. In fact, the intention was to refuse this limit - go beyond it.

The compositions were the result of long exposures taken while rotating the camera by 360 degrees on the same spot. The results show indistinguishable traits, namely either horizontal, colourful lines or abstract, flat visual information.
They are urban or natural landscapes.
